Centre of Civil Society, in collaboration with IIC, organises a series named "Public Eye on Public Services" from October-November 2005. The aim of the series is to analyse the current status, possible improvements, and viable alternatives to public services in Delhi or around the country. The following sessions are scheduled

• Delhi Water: Concerns, Challenges & Reforms, November 30
• Right To Education Bill 2005, November 16
• Informal Sector Workers: Problems and Prospects , November 2
• Delhi Power: From Privatisation to Competition , October 15

To discuss livelihood and ecological concerns related to our forests, the Centre organises Keepers of Forests: Judiciary, Ministry, or Community, hosting six sessions on resource management, allocation, ownership and use. The objective is to assess the real problems and conclude affordable and long-term policy solutions to prevent the over-use and mismanagement of our natural goods.

This summit is organized to take the idea of community ownership and management of natural resources to a wider audience. The discussions and seminars focus on key resources: forests, fisheries, wildlife. The seminar is aimed at activists, policy makers and academicians.

Asia Livelihood Documentary Competition and Festival is a search for documentaries that bring to light policies, socio – cultural norms and religious practices that prevent or constrain people from earning an honest livelihood in the vocation of their choice. It aims at capturing the livelihood challenges faced by the rural and urban poor and bringing it to the attention of current and future policy makers. This year, screening committee has shortlisted 21 documentaries on livelihood challenges in Asia.
