Policy Roundtable for Members of Parliament: Right To Education (RTE)

Centre for Civil Society organises Policy Roundtables for Members of Parliament on the RTE to discuss and debate the Model Rules as per the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 (RTE Act). This discussion is aimed at providing timely and much needed feedback to the Union Government, which in turn will help State Governments in developing their rules on innovative ideas on the implementation of the Act.

Student First Dialogue: Implementing the 25% in RTE Act: Developing a Model

The School Choice Campaign (SCC) organises an open forum discussion on the 25% Reservation Clause under the Right to Education Act (RTE) to discuss critical questions on the concept of reservation, and the definition of weaker and disadvantaged sections, selection of beneficiaries, admission criteria and process, mechanisms for reimbursements, monitoring of the project were the highlights of the discussion.

School Choice National Conference

The second annual School Choice National Conference brings together expert educationists, academicians and policymakers to discuss the implementation of key provisions of the Right to Education Act (RTE 2008) and their potential impact on the future of Indian elementary education. Participants will express their issues, share experiences and formulate a collective plan to advocate for reforms with the government.
