#ccstalks Tweetchat on ‘Are you Charlie? A TweetChat on Free Speech’
The world appears to be waging a war on free speech. The infamous attack on Charlie Hebdo, the call for a ban of the film ‘Messenger of God’, and the book by Perumal Murugan ‘Madhorubhagan’. Is the right to freedom of expression absolute? Should it be? Join us for #ccstalks, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 from 7-8pm as we debate this issue. Log in to tweetchat.com or Twitter and follow #ccstalks. We look forward to speaking with you!

#ccstalks Tweetchat on ‘Is promulgating ordinances democratic?’
The Constitution of India grants an ‘extraordinary’ power to the President that allows him to pass an ordinance when (a) both Houses of the Parliament are not in session and (b) he is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary for him to take immediate action. In the last week, nine ordinances have been promulgated by the government. Is this democratic? Join us for #ccstalks, Wednesday, 7 January 2015 from 7-8pm as we debate this issue.
