ìpolicy for Young Leaders, St. Stephen's College, 4-7 June
Applications for the 'ipolicy', a four day residential course in public policy are now open! Join Centre for Civil Society for an outside classroom experience like no other and be equipped with the fundamentals of political economy and sound public policy. Understand current challenges and effectively advocate for solutions that will change the policy landscape for the better!
(The programs are open to all students, graduates, post graduates or who've recently started working.)

India launch of Deepak Lal's book 'Poverty and Progress: Realities and Myths About Global Poverty' published by Oxford University Press.
The greatest reduction of mass poverty in human history has occurred during the current era of globalizations. The world's poor are now catching up with the rich at a rapid pace in terms of human well-being-health, education, and life spans. In the book renowned economist Deepak Lal draws 50 years of experience around the globe to describe developing country realities and rectify misguided notions about economic progress.
Books will be available at the venue for sale @ Rs 450 per copy
