EduDoc: Stories of Education is an International Short Film Competition by Centre for Civil Society (CCS) where we want to put Challenges, innovations and celebrations in the spotlight.

Best Film: Laleh Complex

In a remote village in central Iran, kids have a harsh way to attend their schools. However, one day a magic car appeared in their area to fulfill their dreams for only one day. Not all of them were prepared for it.


2nd Best Film: Dreamers of Breswana

Haji Public School is located in Breswana, a high altitude agrarian Himalayan village in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The school caters to the students in the region and surrounding villages currently educating about 350 first generation learners in its three branches. The school runs a successful volunteer program to be able to impart education to the students- SauraMandala Foundation.

Best Film (EduDoc Fellows 2018) Vikiran

The film is about the girls who after failing their class 10th exams are sitting at home. The confidence of these girls is shattered and the only thing that their parents want from them is to get them married. Vikiran, an NGO, teaches these girls not only mainstream subjects but also things like bangle making, earrings and other skills. Most of the girls passed in their class 10 exam due to aid of Vikiran."
